Baralaba Aged Care offers two different types of services.
Home Care Packages (HCP)
Commonwealth Home Support Programme
Baralaba Aged Care has various aids for hire to help you live safely and independently in your own home.

Eligibility
Home Care Packages Eligibility
To be eligible for a Home Care Package you must first have an ACAT assessment before these services can be activated

Fees for our services will be discussed at the time of your assessment
Commonwealth Home Support Programme​
To be supported by Baralaba Community Aged Care, you first need to contact the My Aged Care contact centre. Please call us if you would like our staff to assist you in this process.

My Aged Care Regional Assessment Service will conduct an assessment where they will discuss your needs and goals and how they can be met. They can then refer you to Baralaba Community Aged Care for the provision of these services.
Available Services (Fees may apply)
Domestic Assitance
We can assist you at home with jobs such as cleaning, dishwashing, washing clothes and unaccompanied shopping.
Social Support
We can help you go to the bank, local shops, and the Post Office and to stay involved in community activities.
Personal Care
We can provide assistance at home with tasks such as showering, dressing and grooming.
Nursing Care
We offer professional nursing care from a Registered or Enrolled nurse in your home. e.g. wound dressing, continence advice.
Transport
We can provide local and out-of-town transport during the week helping you to get to appointments, shopping or activities at our Activity Centre.
Home Maintenance
We can help with minor repairs such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaking taps etc. Garden maintenance includes lawn mowing and basic garden care.
Meals On Wheels (fees apply)
We arrange Meals on Wheels to deliver nutritious and balanced meals for individuals who can no longer cook for themselves.
Social Support - Group
You can join in the various weekly activities that we offer at our Activity Centre, attend our information sessions, or come along on social trips.
